Wexford native Clodagh Kinsella completed her B.A in Vocal Studies in the Royal Irish Academy of
Music with a First Class Honours and is now in her second year of a MA studying with Lynda Lee
and repetiteur Dr. Dearbhla Collins.
A multi-instrumentalist and singer, she began violin at the age of five and piano at the age of
8. Clodagh has completed her grade eight level in violin and piano.
Solo concert appearances include Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de confessore , Haydn’s Stabat mater ,
Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater , Handel’s Messiah , Saint-Saens Christmas Oratorio ,Vivaldi’s Gloria
,Orff’s Carmina Burana., Mozart’s Coronation Mass , Mozart’s C Minor Mass , Mozart’s Requiem
and Handel’s Gloria.
Operatic roles include Second Soprano in Monteverdi’s Tirsi e Clori with RIAM , Zweite Dame in
Mozart’s Die Zauberflote with RIAM ,Les Enfants in Massenet’s Werther with Opera in the Open,
Titania in Purcell’s Fairy Queen with RIAM and her latest title role as Sandrina in Mozart’s La Finta
On behalf of RIAM Clodagh has gone on trips to Budapest to perform Tirsi e Clori in the Liszt
Academy and to New York.
Clodagh is a multiple prize-winner in the EBS Feis Ceoil in Dublin. In November 2017 Clodagh was
awarded first place in the Irene Sanford Singing Competition having received Most Promising
Performer Prize the previous year.
